		<description>heeman, did you ever get a reply to this? it sounds similar to my problem where the desktop is too big for the screen. When I try and change the resolution the display corrupts. This is from a fresh install onto a blank HDD.</description>

Alan I need some help with my display.I have cleared the whole pc and install windows xp and ubuntu 8.10 as well but now it seems the graphic display running ubuntu is giving me some problem.It seems that the screen is centered to the right when displaying..I can&#039;t get the background to run at a better quality and it seems it can&#039;t get the graphic update.Any help??</description>
